The pollution destroys the natural environment and it's a threat for the health of the population. The poor people in the absence of resources and information, can't organize the pick up of the litter, and this gets accumulate and harms the population. So, as we can see the pollution has a lot of common with the poverty. Near the 92% of the deaths because of the contamination are produced in poor countries. 

 

In this image, we can see some shacks made of a lot of trash and a man with two kids, maybe he is the father of the boy and girl. It seems to be hot, because the man is only wearing shorts and a hat, the girl a dress and the boy a long T-shirt. For me, this is a sad image because represents how they life, without resources, without a decent housing and surrounded by litter. 

Besides having trash on their street, we can imagine that this people don’t have the essential services to have a life with quality, surely they don’t have drinking water in their houses so they have to get it in wells or in reservoirs with doubtful health. Normally, this theme is very common and suppose a big focus of health problems. 

Another concern is the waste management, frequently these poor people don’t have the information and the possibility to manage the polluting residues that they generate, this does that finally the ground is contaminated by sewage. All of this, is very bad to the health and to the environment

 

In my opinion, evidently until these people don’t have their basic needs covered, the pollution is not going to be one of their principal concerns.
